Press Release Date November 20, 2023

Independent research ranked Intelex solutions for high-risk firms: outstanding connected worker safety and incident management, plus unrivalled critical event management and emergency response.

Toronto, Canada – [20 November 2023] – Intelex Technologies, global provider of SaaS-based environmental, health, safety, and quality (EHSQ) management software, today announced it has been named as a leader by independent analyst firm Verdantix in its new research report ‘Green Quadrant: Process Safety Management Software 2023’.

Verdantix’s benchmark research compared 15 of the most prominent process safety management (PSM) software vendors. It ranked Intelex as one of ten offering “robust all-round PSM software capabilities” alongside specific PSM functionality (offering more than five of the 13 elements assessed).

Verdantix analysts highlighted Intelex’s “rich ecosystem” in the report, with its “strong incident management, contractor management and management of change (MOC) – alongside robust technical capabilities, especially for mobile apps and configurability”.

“Managing data for process safety has traditionally been a difficult task,” said Brian Ice, Chief Marketing Officer at Intelex Technologies, ULC. “Intelex provides a unified solution that helps organizations collect and manage high-quality process data for monitoring people and assets in high-risk industries. With our connected worker solutions supported by robust partnerships, organizations can take a proactive approach to controlling hazardous conditions and managing critical events. We are very pleased Verdantix has recognized our innovative strategy for mitigating operational risk, keeping workers safe and protecting assets in complex industries.”

In its overarching analysis of the PSM market, Verdantix set out the critical role of risk visualization to holistic PSM. The report also demonstrated the importance of accessible, mobile capabilities that connect front-line and field operational practitioners.

Intelex scored particularly highly for its connected worker safety application and its critical event management (CEM) and emergency response solution. Intelex’s innovative integrations and close partnerships with third parties were cited as significant differentiating factors – including those with Honeywell, Fortive-owned Industrial Scientific and Protex AI.

Verdantix analysts also rated Intelex for its “highly comprehensive, configurable and mobile-ready” incident and contractor management solution.

The report concluded with recognition of the firm’s plans for further enhancements to the breadth of its solutions and data interoperability, with third-party connectivity and enhanced user interface and experience.

Joe Lamming, Industry Analyst, Verdantix, commented: “Delivering strong incident management, contractor management and management of change (MOC) – alongside robust technical capabilities, especially for mobile apps and configurability – Intelex caters to multinational firms operating in the infrastructure and transport, food and beverage, and oil and gas industries.”
