Group President, Intelex & Industrial Scientific

Justin McElhattan is Group President, Fortive. Justin joined Fortive in connection with Fortive’s acquisition of Industrial Scientific Corporation (ISC) in 2017, where he has served as President since 2007. As President of ISC, he led the growth and profitability of Fortive’s Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) businesses with the acquisitions of Intelex, SAFER Systems and ehsAI, and the expansion of ISC’s iNet offerings to promote the safety of both customers and the community. As Group President, Mr. McElhattan drives the results, innovation and growth of Fortive's EHS businesses. Justin became President of Industrial Scientific and its subsidiaries in 2010. In this role, he was responsible for leading the company strategically toward achieving its mission of preserving human life on, above and below the earth. Justin's career at Industrial Scientific began in 1998 as Manager of Commercial Systems. Since then, he has held various positions within the company, including Field Sales Manager, North America; Vice President, Operations; and President & Chief Operating Officer. Prior to working at Industrial Scientific, Justin served as a Water/Wastewater Sales & Support Specialist for Sheridan Safety (Dayton, Ohio) and as Field Sales Representative for SAFECO with a territory in Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Justin earned his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Resource Management from The Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pa. He also holds an MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.

Melissa Hammerle

Melissa Hammerle brings experience driving growth, customer retention, and innovation through leadership roles in general management, product, marketing, sales, customer success and the Fortive Business System (FBS) to her role as President of Intelex Technologies. Melissa joined Intelex from Accruent, where, as the Commercial President, she and her team built new sales and marketing growth engines to sustainably deliver software bookings. Previously, she led the team that created Fluke’s first Internet of Things business to serve customer maintenance workflows, accelerated strategic initiatives across Fortive as the FBS Director of Growth, and delivered strong revenue and employee engagement as the VP & GM of Fluke Calibration. Prior to joining Fortive, Melissa served as a Captain in the US Army, where she led a company in Iraq.


Elie Mouzon

Elie Mouzon

Chief Strategy Officer

Elie is Chief Strategy Officer at Intelex and is responsible for aligning organization vision, strategy and delivery to expand the customer base. Prior to joining Intelex, Elie was Director of Product Management and Director of the EHS & Sustainability Practice at an EHS Software company. Elie has designed Environment, Health and Safety, Quality, Corporate Governance, and Risk Management software solutions for the past 15 years and worked with hundreds of global companies to improve their compliance and overall performance in these areas. Elie has a Master of Science in Advanced Mechanical Engineering at Bristol University, UK, and a Master of Engineering at E.N.S.A.M. College, France. In 2005, Elie graduated with a Master of Philosophy in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the Cambridge-MIT Institute program, at Cambridge University, UK with first degree honours. In Elie’s spare time, you’ll catch him hitting the links and enjoying a round of golf.

Brian Ice

Chief Product & Engineering Officer

Brian Ice is our Chief Product & Engineering Officer at Intelex. In this role, he is responsible for all facets of Intelex’s product initiatives, including leading our product management, engineering, and cloud operations teams to dream up, develop, and deliver products and solutions that solve our customers' pain points. Prior to joining Intelex, Brian was the general manager for the Mainstream Solutions product line at Tektronix. During his career, Brian has worked in leadership roles across EHSQ, test & measurement, cloud/IT services and military/government sectors with much of his time in software-centric marketing, engineering and business leadership roles. Prior to joining Tektronix, Brian was the senior director of Product Management at ANCILE, which has a global software product portfolio that serves over 4,400 customers – including half of the Fortune 100 - and 19 million users. Brian holds a BS and MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the Tepper School at Carnegie Mellon. In his spare time, Brian enjoys spending time with his family, watching/playing sports, reading and traveling internationally.

Shannon Karl is Intelex’s Chief Marketing officer. She is a results-driven B2B marketing and communications executive with more than 25 years of experience developing and executing strategic marketing and communications plans that exceed targets. Shannon joined Intelex from SAP, where she was Vice President of Industry Marketing, and built SAP’s first Global Integrated Demand Team dedicated to supporting Enterprise and Mid-Market sectors. Prior to that role, Shannon led SAP Applications marketing for North America, led North America marketing for NGA Human Resources, and held various global and regional marketing leadership roles at IBM and PwC Consulting. Her diverse career has also included editorial, marketing, and public relations roles in both consumer electronics and publishing industries.

Kristen Duda

Kristen Duda

Kristen is the Vice President, Strategic Alliances here at Intelex. Based in Chicago, Kristen oversees global partnerships with consultancies, independent software vendors, and technology firms. Kristen brings over 13 years of experience in environmental, health and safety management. As a professional engineer, she has hands-on experience implementing environmental compliance programs and strategies for large, multinational manufacturing corporations and defense agencies. Prior to Intelex, Kristen served as Vice President with CH2M, a global engineering and consulting firm where she was responsible for spearheading highly successful environmental sales strategies, which led to double digit growth in the EHS consulting and information management practices, as well as industrial market verticals. When Kristen isn’t in the office, you will catch her chauffeuring her girls to/from dance or going for a run around her neighborhood.


Bryden Waggott

Bryden is our Vice President of Solution Management where he oversees the design and creation of Intelex’s Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality applications. As part of the product organization Bryden contributes to the overall product vision and strategy though a strong connection with the EHSQ market. Bryden has been with Intelex for over 15 years and started out in our sales department as an Account Manager. Throughout his career here he has played a vital role in the business development and product strategy of the company. Bryden’s expertise spans the full breadth of the Intelex platform, solutions and developing deep understanding of ever-evolving customer needs. When Bryden isn’t in the office, you’ll catch him hanging off a cliff face in a vain attempt to send his sick project.

Amanda Nastoupil

Amanda Nastoupil

Head of HR Business Partners

Amanda is the Head of HR Business Partners at Intelex. Amanda brings 10 years of human resources experience, most recently specializing in Talent Development and Inclusion and Diversity. At her previous company and a Fortive Operating Company, Accruent, Amanda was integral in developing their companywide culture strategy working closely with the senior leadership team. Amanda has been recognized for her I&D efforts by Fortive and brings her focus into this role. Amanda serves as a strategic business partner to the Intelex senior leadership focused on a transformational talent agenda, designed to recruit, develop and retain talent. Amanda works closely with the HR shared services organization and the executive team to help shape our growth strategy and focus on retaining & growing our people. Amanda received her BA in Criminal Justice from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas and recently received her Diversity and Inclusion Certification from Cornell University. She is a proud native Texan, based in Houston with her husband, Brandon, stepson Alex, and fur family member, Duke. When she’s not working, Amanda loves to travel, take Peloton cycling classes, read, and spend time with family and friends.

Craig serves as Senior Vice President of Sales, Americas and is responsible for go-to-market strategy and execution. Craig is passionate about helping his team to understand customer needs and translating them into meaningful solutions that solve critical problems, ensure compliance, reduce risk and improve performance. Prior to Intelex, Craig served in senior leadership roles across multiple technology companies, including Khoros and Microsoft, where he focused on organizational transformation, revenue growth, and delivering business value to customers.


Ahsan Ali
Vice President, Finance

Ahsan Ali

Vice President, Finance

Ahsan Ali, Vice President, Finance, joined Intelex in November 2021 with a wealth of financial experience and expertise from almost 10 years of various leadership roles at Fortive. Most recently, Ahsan lead the finance department at Setra Systems (a Fortive Company headquartered out of Massachusetts, USA) and helped navigate the company through the various challenges presented by the pandemic with minimum disruption to both US and China operations as the company grew to record levels. Through Fortive Business Solutions (FBS), Ahsan was able to drive continued improvements across the finance teams ensuring efficient processes and sound controls to deliver strong results. Prior to joining Fortive, Ahsan has spent 8 years in public accounting with KPMG with a focus on manufacturing and technology companies, as well as a short stint within the wireless division at BCE. Ahsan holds a BAS-Accounting degree from York University, Toronto and is a CPA from Ontario. In his spare time, Ahsan enjoys hiking, travel, and various sports.
