[Toronto, Canada — April 15, 2026] Intelex Technologies ULC, a global leader in cloud-based Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ) management software, today announced its Q2 2026 product launch, keeping to its established cadence of quarterly innovation delivery.
The Q2 launch spans AI-powered automation, integrated SIF prevention tools, and platform-wide usability improvements, each tackling operational friction that keeps EHS teams from doing their most important work.
Expanded AI Capabilities for Compliance and Field Workflows
Intelex’s Input AI pillar expands this quarter into two new capabilities: compliance management and offline field operations.
Intelex’s new Input AI-enabled Permits capability eliminates the manual, error-prone process of extracting permit conditions by automatically reading uploaded permits and generating compliance activities directly in the Permit Management application, turning days of work into minutes.
Paper Sync, another addition to the Input AI suite of capabilities, solves another pervasive worker challenge: sometimes paper forms are the only option. When devices aren’t permitted in the field, teams can now print a structured checklist from Intelex, complete it by hand, photograph it later, and let AI auto-populate the digital form to avoid manual data re-entry.
A Standardized Approach to SIF Prevention
Intelex continues to advance its position as the platform of choice for organizations serious about preventing serious injuries and fatalities (SIFs/pSIFs).
In partnership with Safety Function, Intelex recently launched the first digital platform for High Energy Control Assessments (HECA™), giving organizations a quantifiable, real-time measure of SIF risk based on whether critical controls are in place for the hazards that matter most. Intelex’s HECA application is available to Intelex customers today.
The Safety Classification Learning Model (SCL) addresses one of the industry’s most stubborn data quality problems: inconsistent SIF classification. A best-practice decision framework now brings standardized SIF and pSIF classification to every incident, near miss, and observation, connecting leading and lagging indicators in a way that makes prevention programs measurably stronger.
By applying a shared classification framework across both leading indicators (exposures and observations) and lagging indicators (incidents and near misses), organizations gain a unified view of serious injury risk.
Platform Enhancements That Reduce Friction and Improve Operational Control
Alongside its AI and safety intelligence releases, Intelex is delivering several platform enhancements designed to generate better insights and reduce user experience friction.
Site View consolidates data from all your Intelex modules (e.g. incidents, inspections, audits, corrective actions, and more) into a single real-time view, giving EHS leaders visibility into performance and emerging risks by site or location. The updated 5-Why Diagram brings root cause analysis directly into the diagram with a modern drag-and-drop interface and refreshed export capabilities. An improved Desktop Signature Capture experience keeps approvals in-system with modernized mouse or touchscreen signing. And the Improved File Attachment Interface, a highly requested update in the product ideas portal, brings intuitive drag-and-drop, in-app preview, and deletion confirmation features to every Intelex application.
ACTS: Deeper Integration Capability
For customers managing environmental compliance through Intelex’s Assets and Compliance Tracking System (ACTS) application, the Q2 launch introduces additional API endpoints that enable end-to-end automation of permit data workflows.
With these new endpoints, organizations can now seamlessly sync permits and limits in real time across their existing tools, eliminating the manual integration touchpoints and workarounds that previously slowed permit data management.
