Intelex Announces Q3 2026 Product Launch, Advancing Visual Risk Management and AI-Powered Workflows

[Toronto, Canada, July 15, 2026] Intelex Technologies ULC, a global leader in cloud-based Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ) management software, today announced its Q3 2026 product launch, continuing its established cadence of quarterly innovation delivery.

Building on the shift toward proactive, insight-driven operations introduced earlier this year, the Q3 launch pushes further, into predictive risk management, spanning AI-powered investigation tools, proactive risk visualization, and field data capture improvements that help frontline teams document what they’re seeing completely and without friction.

Visualizing Risk Before It Becomes an Incident

Intelex’s new Bowtie Risk Assessment capability replaces text-heavy risk registers with intuitive bowtie diagrams that consolidate hazards, threats, controls, and consequences into a single, unified view. The result is a shared understanding of risk that spans frontline operators, engineers, and executive leadership, all built and maintained directly within the Intelex environment.

“Bowtie Risk Assessment gives EHS teams a way to see exactly where their controls stand before something goes wrong, not after,” said Courtney Lewis, EHS Advisor at Intelex. “It changes the conversation from reacting to failures to proactively understanding where risk is controlled and where gaps still exist.”

Organizations can build a consistent library of bowtie diagrams across sites, identify control gaps proactively, and demonstrate regulatory compliance to stakeholders without leaving the platform they already use.

Smarter, Friction-Free Field Data Capture

This quarter’s launch also includes several updates designed to make field data capture faster and more complete, strengthening the data that feeds both predictive and reactive risk programs.

Intelex’s AI-powered Auto Populate feature has been improved for frontline workers, allowing them to dictate descriptions of events using their mobile device’s microphone in situations where typing is slow or impractical. The AI then automatically extracts and populates relevant fields for review and submission.

Additionally, SafetyNet introduces two enhancements designed to make inspections faster and observations more complete. Field teams now have access to a faster, more modern mobile interface on iOS and Android, making it easier to conduct inspections and capture observations on the go. Observation records also now support multiple photo, video, and file attachments for both the problem and resolution, replacing the previous single-image limit and giving teams a clearer, more complete record of what was found and how it was addressed.

Streamlined Sustainability Data Collection

For customers managing ESG reporting, Intelex is introducing Tab Group functionality, one of the most highly requested updates from ESG clients. Users can now navigate between related ESG forms using tabs at the top of the page, while the underlying forms remain separated by topic, preserving existing task assignment flexibility and security behavior without requiring custom configuration.

Now Also Available: Accelerating Root Cause Investigations with AI

COMET, Intelex’s partner solution for root cause analysis, has added AI directly into its core investigation workflow through COMET AI Assistant. Within an investigation, it generates a structured event timeline from an incident narrative, identifies barriers that failed, were missing, or held, and surfaces the human, organizational, and system factors that contributed to the incident.

COMET AI Assistant also suggests preventive actions structured across COMET’s five pillars, developed into fully formed SMART actions, and generates a one-click executive summary synthesizing the full investigation for review and approval. Beyond individual investigations, it can also interrogate an organization’s full investigation history in natural language, surfacing recurring root causes and patterns that would otherwise take hours of manual review to find. Every suggestion remains subject to investigator review and approval before anything is finalized.

Additional Information

Collectively, these updates reflect Intelex’s continued investment in helping EHSQ teams identify and act on risk earlier, while making the tools that support investigations, inspections, and reporting faster and easier to use. To learn more or request a demonstration, visit the Intelex Blog.
