Dallas, Texas – October 8, 2026. Intelex Technologies, a global leader in cloud-based Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ) management software, recognized five customers for their achievements in EHSQ performance, innovation and impact at the 2026 Intelex Ignite Excellence Awards, held during Intelex Ignite North America in Dallas, Texas.
The Ignite Excellence Awards recognize the people and teams making meaningful progress in EHS and Quality, customers challenging the status quo, transforming the way work gets done and using technology, data and processes to create meaningful outcomes for their organizations and employees.
“The Ignite Excellence Awards exist because the real story of EHS and Quality progress is about the people who blend people, process, and technology to make their workplaces safer and their operations stronger. These five organizations show what’s possible when that commitment meets the right tools, and we’re proud to celebrate them in front of their peers,” said Scott Gaddis, VP and Global Practice Leader, Safety and Health at Intelex.
The 2026 program recognizes customer achievements in five categories: Innovation & Transformation, Safety Leadership, Quality & Operational Excellence, Rising Star and Frontline Voice. This year’s range is represented by the winners, from large-scale digital transformation to frontline safety participation to emerging customer momentum:
Patterson UTI: Innovation & Transformation: Patterson UTI is recognized for transforming field EHSQ work by expanding its use of Intelex to approximately 20 applications, developing custom solutions and adopting advanced capabilities including COMET AI.
Following its merger with NexTier, the organization has continued to digitize and standardize EHS, quality and supplier processes across complex field operations.
Skanska USA Inc.: Safety Leadership: Skanska USA Inc. is recognized for removing barriers to frontline participation by making Intelex easier for first-line employees to access and use.
This work is helping increase participation in incident and observation reporting, simplify inspections and provide stronger visibility into safety activity in the field.
Los Angeles Department of Water and Power: Quality & Operational Excellence: Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) is recognized for evolving its initial Intelex implementation into a broader safety and risk platform over the past three years.
Its roadmap now extends across Global Risk, Quality, COMET and AI capabilities, demonstrating sustained adoption, broader cross-functional use and continued maturation beyond go-live.
Geosyntec: Rising Star: Geosyntec is recognized for building strong momentum early in its Intelex journey by driving adoption across business units, stepping forward as an early adopter and actively sharing its experience with other customers and prospects.
Its combination of internal adoption and customer-community engagement reflects the kind of early impact the Rising Star category was designed to recognize.
General Motors: Frontline Voice: General Motors is recognized for modernizing its global EHS technology foundation and creating a scalable platform that supports broader employee participation, more consistent reporting and action.
The transition is consolidating processes including incidents, corrective actions, safety tours, employee concerns and reporting, creating a more consistent way for employees to surface concerns and participate in safety processes globally.
“We spent the last eight months making sure our customer was front and center in every decision we made, from extending our communications to having critical people in our user acceptance testing to making sure we had a global audience and a global voice,” said Erin Monteleone, Global Workplace Safety System Analyst at General Motors. “The amount of work that went into this is not only impressive, it’s impactful, and our customers love it. I’m incredibly proud of this team and what we were able to accomplish in such a short period of time.”
Recognizing the People Behind Progress
The Ignite Excellence Awards are an extension of Intelex’s long-standing tradition of recognizing customer successes at its customer conferences.
Customer nominations were submitted through their Intelex contacts or customers. Each nomination was assessed against the intent of its category, taking into account the customer’s challenge, the approach or initiative taken, the adoption and use of Intelex, measurable outcomes where available and broader impact across areas such as safety, quality, operational performance, employee participation and transformation.
Celebrating Customers at Ignite
The awards were presented during the Ignite Excellence Awards Dinner on October 7 as part of Intelex Ignite North America, taking place October 7–8 in Dallas, Texas.
Under the theme, “Reconnect. Reignite. Reimagine What’s Next,” Ignite brings together EHSQ leaders, innovators and practitioners for two days of expert-led sessions, real-world customer stories, hands-on training and networking.
