He was a committee member of the British Standards Institution for the development and maintenance of OSHAS 18001 and ISO 45001, an examiner for NEBOSH, and has been a UK Health Safety Executive HSE Principal Inspector ex for 37 years. He currently investigates fatal accidents for a large global manufacturing organization and runs one of the largest LinkedIn groups dedicated to ISO 45001.
Jane Standerwick is the Managing Director of Standerwick Safety Partnership. She began her career in the chemical industry working for a global chemical manufacturer. Leaving industry in 2005, Jane became the Service Manager for Workplace Health Connect in Wales. This was sponsored by HSE and provided impartial advice on health, safety and return to work to over 1,500 smaller business across Wales.
