Macquarie Generation Achieves ISO 14001 Certification Intelex Technologies Inc., a leading provider of environmental management solutions, and Graham A Brown & Associates, an environmental consultancy, today announced that their client, the New South Wales (Australia) based Macquarie Generation, has achieved ISO 14001 certification. Graham A Brown & Associates successfully supported a week-long ISO 14001 certification audit at Macquarie Generation's two coal-fired power generation facilities. The auditor was impressed with the use of Intelex's EMS system and recommended Macquarie Generation for certification with no major or minor nonconformances, only three observations, and one improvement note – a result of 222 out of 232 or 97%. Aaron Westwood of Graham A Brown & Associates stated, "This is now the 8th EMS we have mentored to certification with no nonconformances (all but two using the Intelex EMS)."
