Responsibilities and Deliverables:
Partner with our business leaders, employees and Human Resources team to identify skills and competencies needed to strengthen our company and prepare us for the future
Curate a roster of unique learning experiences for employees – classroom, remote, blended solutions, gamification, 1-1 coaching
Support Intelex and Industrial Scientific Managers to grow into highly impactful leaders through world class management and leadership development programs with a focus on building future leadership talent
You will seek out opportunities to partner with Fortive, pulling and developing Learning and Development best practices
Continually refresh and reinvent learning programs to keep them aligned with our business needs
Assess the effectiveness of learning initiatives, producing insights to communicate outcomes to key business stakeholders
Your team will be responsible for facilitating a world-class on-boarding experience that is continually evolving to ensure that we can speed up the time it takes for new employees to be fully productive in their role
You have the metrics and insights to show the effectiveness and success of learning initiatives
You will be responsible for working with the Human Resources Operations and IT team to implement a Learning Management System that meets the growing needs of the organization, recognizing that integration with our current technologies and employee adoption should be critical evaluation criteria
You will partner with the Human Resources Operations and Leadership team to identify the right approach for Intelex and Industrial Scientific for mapping out career growth opportunities
You will partner with the Vice President, Human Resources on how we can drive a non-traditional approach to performance management
Travel to office locations within Canada, the United States and occasional international travel required. Expected travel – 30%
This role reports directly to the the Global Head of Talent Management and works very closely with the Vice President, Human Resources

You are on top of the latest technology, especially in HR and Learning and Development.
You are familiar with evaluating, implementing and supporting Learning technology
You have 10+ years experience in adult learning and organizational development
You have experience working in a global organization, building and optimizing a variety of programs across diverse teams and cultures
Demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to build and lead a performance driven team
Completed post-secondary education in a related field. A focus on Adult Education, Training and Development, Organizational Development, considered an asset.
CTDP designation, considered an asset.
