The Texas Organ Sharing Alliance represents one of only 58 federally-designated organ procurement organizations in the United States. Its pledge to the 56 counties it serves in South and Central Texas is to increase donation and transplantation awareness. Its challenge is to offer the more than 98,000 individuals on united network for organ sharing (OPOs) wait list for organs that life-saving opportunity of receiving the “Gift of Life.” The Texas Organ Sharing Alliance uses Intelex’s Document Control System.
