Position Overview

Intelex Technologies Inc. is seeking a full time Technical Consultant. This position requires an IT professional to support Intelex's broad range of software solutions.

Responsibilities and Deliverables

  • Maintaining, supporting, and installing Intelex software.
  • Working with various Intelex departments and clients and prospects to provide software solutions
  • Software deployment and install/update automation
  • MSSQL Database Management and performance optimization
  • Interface/Integration design and support
  • Training clients on technical aspects of the software solution and associated environment.
  • Monitoring and creating reports on system up time and software availability.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Department Manager


  • Experience and strong knowledge of Windows Server software
  • Experience and strong knowledge of High Availability web systems
  • Experience and strong knowledge of Web based systems built on Microsoft Technologies
  • Experience with Automation, interfaces, and Web Service API's.
  • Strong knowledge with Windows Scripting/PowerShell.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL Server (both Administration and T-SQL)
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Internet Information Services 6/7/7.5
  • Experience with common Network topologies and protocols
  • Knowledge of Enterprise technical environments
  • Expert-level skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent research skills
  • Excellent time-management and project management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with various departments and foster teamwork
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Educational Requirements:
    • Degree or Diploma from a federally recognized University or College

Travel Requirements

This position will require travel on an as-needed basis, not expected to exceed 20%.
