As a Marketing Specialist focusing on lead nurturing and environment, safety and quality management content, your primary responsibility will be the creation, curation and promotion of marketing content to keep prospects engaged with the Intelex brand. You will research the most pressing topics and create or coordinate whitepapers, webinars, special reports, blogs, infographics and other engaging content. You will work alongside other marketing team members to generate interest in this content primarily leveraging our internal database and conducting permission based email marketing campaigns to facilitate engagement.
Additionally, you will be accountable to applying for and winning awards that reinforce Intelex’s strength in the technology community and as an employer of choice in Canada. You will also be responsible for generating excitement in the media about Intelex through the writing and distribution of press releases to announce exciting company news or industry happenings that would be relevant to our customers.
Content Creation and Distribution
Research and coordinate or generate content (whitepapers, webinars, special reports, blogs, podcasts) about Intelex, our products and/or industry issues.
Work with industry specific sales teams to help identify potential newsworthy topics.
Develop and nurture relationships with content partners including industry experts, clients and internal departments.
Leverage email marketing to promote content to our internal database.
Act as editor for any marketing materials being produced by other marketing team members to help ensure consistency in branding/voice.
Media Relations and Communications
Write press releases and media alerts as required announcing newsworthy Intelex information.
Maintain media lists of relevant industry contacts and distribute press releases and media alerts.
Apply for and win product, industry and employer based awards.
Write and/or maintain standard templates such as corporate boilerplates, executive bios, corporate profile etc.
Review segments of RFP responses to ensure accuracy and constancy with Intelex messaging.
University or college degree or a minimum of 2-4 years of marketing experience.
Understanding or knowledge of marketing automation platforms preferred.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Superior writing and researching skills, journalism background would be beneficial.
Understanding of, and interest in, Environmental, Health, Safety or Quality issues.
Passion for technology and uncanny proficiency with new software tools.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher).
