Key Account Manager

Position Overview

The Account Manager will maintain ongoing relationships with Intelex's key clients ensuring their ongoing success and purchase of additional products/services as well as manage a team of Account Managers who focus on existing accounts. The Senior Account Manager will both act as a voice for clients within the company and provide tactical/strategic direction to accounts regarding global roll-outs of our complete product offering.

Responsibilities and Deliverables

Assigned Accounts

  • Create an effective and repeatable Account Management process.
  • Conduct regular client check-ups ensuring their business concerns are being addressed in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate the resolution of any key outstanding issues with other Intelex departments.
  • Identify opportunities to sell additional Intelex products/services that will drive client’s business processes.
  • Document key requirements related to opportunities and prepare proposals.
  • Negotiate sale of additional products/services
  • Meet and exceed sales targets related to up selling to assigned clients

Team Activities

  • Prepare a detailed yearly growth strategy for each named account.
  • Initiate drive to upsell in existing accounts
  • Build a framework for future team growth
  • Manage a team of Account Managers
  • Ensure Intelex’s CRM is updated on client status and opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets related to Team up selling to client base.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing and up-selling software to strategic accounts.
  • Understanding of web-based technology and insight into enterprise software applications.
  • Superior written as well as verbal communication skills.
  • Experience delivering presentations to corporate customers.
  • Experience with proposal preparation and delivery.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher).
  • Proven experience preparing and delivering PowerPoint presentations.
  • Experience using on-line third party software tools to deliver presentations (WebEx).
  • Contact management software systems (SalesForce.com, etc.).
  • High comfort level with the internet and conducting internet research.

Personality and Other Skills:

  • Superior written communication skills
  • Multi-lingual candidates are preferred
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Strong leadership skills
