The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is a multi-modal transportation agency serving one of the fastest growing areas of the country. ADOT is responsible for planning, building, and operating a complex highway system in addition to building and maintaining bridges and the Grand Canyon Airport. A major component of the organization is the Motor Vehicle Division, which provides title, registration, and driver license services to the general public throughout the state of Arizona. ADOT is utilizing Intelex’s Environmental Management System.
The City of Dallas began using the Intelex system in the 3rd quarter of 2004 within their Equipment and Building Services departments. Their implementation will be expanding city-wide making the City of Dallas one of the first municipalities in North America to pursue a city-wide EMS.
The City of Edmonton utilizes both the Intelex Environmental & Quality Management System. As a corporation, the City of Edmonton serves a population of nearly one million.
The City of Hamilton utilizes Intelex's Integrated Management System. It is the area’s unique natural architecture that has contributed in great measure to the formation of a distinct regional character and heritage.
Phoenix's Office of Environmental Programs (OEP) coordinates environmental programs and issues, develops city environmental policies and regulations, and provides technical and regulatory assistance to city departments. The OEP advances environmental protection and sustainability by promoting sound environmental policies and practices through leadership, education, and technical and regulatory assistance. The OEP is utilizing Intelex's Document Control, Legal and Other Requirements, and Permits Management Modules.
The City of San Jose’s Environmental Services Department (ESD) is dedicated to providing a sustainable environment for their resident and businesses while preserving their beautiful and unique natural habitats. ESD utilizes Intelex’s Environmental Management System to help respond quickly to new regulations and initiatives, and to retool and improve customer services such as garbage and recycling collection, wastewater treatment, and the sale of potable and recycled water. With over 400 employees and an annual budget of $124 million, ESD is one of the City's largest and most visible departments.
The City of Scottsdale was the first municipality in North America to implement a city wide environmental management system based on the ISO 14001 standard. Scottsdale has implemented the Intelex EMS web based system City wide, with over 2,500 users capable of accessing the system. In 2002, the City of Scottsdale was the first municipality to receive the Environmental Performance track Award from the United States EPA.

Surprise is a collection of distinctive neighborhoods with a small town feel and big city amenities. They are currently using Intelex's Integrated Management System to manage their internal quality, environmental and safety management programs within their Water Services Division.
The City of Tempe implemented the Intelex Environmental Management System in 2003. As a result of their success, five other Arizona cities have implemented the Intelex EMS. The Intelex EMS is being used to manage all regulatory compliance issues including permitting and permit related activities.

Collingwood Utility Services is a community owned utility that provides reliable electricity and water services to its customers. They are currently utilizing the Intelex Integrated Management System.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Columbus, Ohio, is a full service law enforcement agency, an arm of the courts, and the custodial keeper of those who break the law. It is the mission of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office to protect the lives and property of the citizens of Franklin County, to preserve the peace, and to prevent crime and disorder while constantly guarding personal liberties as prescribed by law. This must be done with honor and integrity, conducting ourselves with the highest ethical standards to maintain public confidence.
The mission of the Gwinnett Department of Water Resources is to enhance quality of life by providing excellent water, wastewater, and stormwater services at the best possible value to its customers while preserving natural water resources. The Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources is utilizing Intelex's License Management and Training Management Modules.
Logan Water is the water and wastewater services provider to 261,000 residents and 4,700 commercial and industrial properties in Logan, Australia. The Mission of Mohave County Public Works is to serve its citizens by delivering quality public works services with the efficient use of resources to enhance the lives of those served. To help them achieve their mission, Mohave County uses Intelex’s Training Management System.
With a population of almost one million people, Pima County is a great place to live and a fantastic tourist destination. Pima County uses the Intelex Environmental Management System and the Intelex Safety Management Suite.
The Port of Houston is a 25-mile-long complex of diversified public and private facilities located just a few hours' sailing time from the Gulf of Mexico. The port is ranked first in the United States in foreign waterborne tonnage and second in the U.S. in total tonnage. The Port of Houston is made up of the Port of Houston Authority and the 150-plus private industrial companies along the Houston Ship Channel. All together, the port authority and its neighbors along the ship channel are a large and vibrant component to the regional economy. The Port of Houston is using Intelex’s Environmental Management System, Hazardous Materials Management Module, and iForms® system.
The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) is the first local government in British Columbia to be ISO 14001 Registered for Environmental Management and utilizes Intelex's Environmental Management System. RDN is one of the fastest growing regions in British Columbia, Canada with a population of more than 131,000 people and some of Vancouver Island's most livable communities. Located on Vancouver Island, Its boundaries stretch from Cassidy, just south of the Nanaimo airport, to Deep Bay in the north, and inland to Mount Arrowsmith. It also includes Gabriola and adjacent islands.
The Rivanna Water and Sewer Authority (The Authority) is an independent public agency providing impoundment, treatment, storage and transmission of potable water and transport and treatment of wastewater for the citizens of Charlottesville and Albemarle County. The Rivanna Water & Sewer Authority utilizes Intelex's Environmental Management System.
Seattle Public Utilities provides a reliable water supply to more than 1.3 million customers in King County, and provides essential sewer, drainage, and solid waste services to City of Seattle customers. Seattle Public Utilities uses Intelex’s EHS Master Incidents Suite.
The Town of Richmond Hill is a safe, clean town committed to managing growth, which provides a welcoming, diverse and environmentally sustainable community that enhances residents' quality of life. The Town of Richmond Hill uses the Intelex EMS to achieve its Environmental Management goals.
The Town of Markham’s Waterworks Department is responsible for the provision of safe water for domestic and commercial use throughout Markham. This responsibility includes the maintenance and repair of watermains up to the property line as well as the water meters inside the house. The department is also responsible for the maintenance and repair of sanitary sewers and all appurtenances up to the property line. The Waterworks Department is utilizing Intelex’s Quality Management System and Safety Hazards & Risks Module.
Waste Commission of Scott County is a 28E, inter-governmental agency that was established in 1972 and reorganized in 1990. Its members include 17 communities and Scott County. The Commission, headquartered in Buffalo, Iowa, has planned, sited, built and operates: Scott Area Landfill and Recycling Center; Household Hazardous Material Facilities; Electronic Demanufacturing Facility; and iLivehere: myhome ourcommunity, an environmental outreach program that provides public education to teach students, residents, and businesses in the greater Quad-City area about solid waste and recycling-related issues. Waste Commission of Scott County is utilizing Intelex's Environmental Management System.
The Regional Municipality of York is made up of a confederation of nine municipalities and provides services to over 1 million residents, 29,000 businesses and 495,000 employees. York Region has a two-tier government structure, with services provided by the Region and local area municipal governments. The Region provides services for its residents and businesses that include transportation services, transit, water, wastewater, emergency services, policing, human services, and growth management. York Region Environmental Services is utilizing Intelex’s Environmental Management System with iForms®.
