The Intelex System Version 3.4: the Most Robust Release to Date

Intelex Technologies Inc., the leading developer of Environmental, Quality and Health and Safety (EQH&S) Business Performance Management software solutions, announced today the release of the Intelex System Version 3.4. The new release has been in development for over six months and it boasts more new features than any previous release, including Reporting Suite enhancements, module and iForms improvements, and new Intelex Platform features.

Version 3.4 is an important step in Intelex’s mission to be the ultimate ‘One-Stop-Shop’ for all things Environmental, Safety, Quality and Business Performance Information Management. One of the most significant features in this release is the ability to import and export complete iForms modules, configurable solutions designed for specific Environmental, Safety and Quality management challenges. Also, in this release Intelex has introduced its new Merge Templates ability, a feature that enables customers to merge any data in the system into a pre-formatted ‘boardroom’ quality reports. Intelex’s goal is to continually evolve the Intelex Platform to further enable its support consultants, clients and partners to easily customize, build and deploy tailored yet powerful web applications. Version 3.4 of the Intelex Platform is one of the most significant milestones towards providing this configurability and opens up an unlimited number of solutions for environmental, safety and quality performance improvements.

Intelex’s Version 3.4 also includes many improvements to Intelex’s most popular individual modules including:

• Document Control;
• Training Management;
• Configurable Quality Nonconformance;
• Legal Requirements and Permits;
• Master Incidents Module.

Innovations in iForms: In addition to several other enhancements to the iForms system, v3.4 has added the ability to import and export iForms modules from any Intelex System installation; even when the system is hosted on an organization’s internal server. This capability enables clients, partners and Intelex Consultants to easily share best practices by exporting features that were built in one system and then importing them into another Intelex System. Initially this feature will be used by Intelex to provide new iForms to clients, but the eventual goal of this feature, combined with the management-exchange.com portal, will be to enable customers and partners to easily share iForms with one-another online.

New Intelex Platform Features: Some of the new improvements in v3.4 will include improved security and password management as well as improved LDAP integration.

Other features included in the v3.4 Upgrade: Additional notable features in Intelex v3.4 include:

• Upgrade of the Intelex ASP Hosting Facility – Intelex has selected a new ASP hosting facility. After a thorough review, Intelex has chosen Rackspace as our partner in providing ASP Hosting services to our customers. Rackspace is the market leader for managed hosting services, having five data centers around the world that offer the highest security and infrastructure standards available. Intelex will still have full and exclusive control over our systems and servers, while also enabling comprehensive 24 hour support for our hardware and software troubleshooting needs;
• Increased speed and performance – The Intelex System v3.4 will introduce a new version of the Intelex Platform with improved performance. Depending on your hardware and network configurations, the new Platform will deliver response times that range anywhere from two to ten times faster than any previous version of the system.
