Intelex Showcases New Technology at the 5th Canadian Waste & Recycling Expo / Canadian Public Works Expo The Canadian Waste & Recycling Expo (CWRE) / The Canadian Public Works Expo (CPWE) 2006, the nation’s only tradeshow serving this multi-billion dollar industry is taking place November 29-30 at the International Center. Attendees can expect to see the latest Intelex solutions serving the waste and recycling industries and the public works community. Booth 802 will serve as the center piece for Intelex's activities at CWRE/CPWE 2006. Attendees can see the latest advances in Environmental Management Systems (EMS) for Waste, Water, and Air Quality Management including: - Executive dashboards and scorecards for performance management;

Attendees will get a"sneak peak" of some of the features in Intelex’s upcoming release "Intelex System v3.4" and will be able to test-drive the system first-hand when they visit booth 802. Attendees will also have the opportunity to attend a seminar conducted by one of Intelex’s municipal clients, Kim Kidd Kitagawa, Waste Management Coordinator – Waste Management Division of Waterloo Region. The seminar is entitled "Multi-residential Recycling: The Untamed Frontier" and will cover such topics as multi-residential recycling programs, contamination rates, transient populations, data management, and effective communication. "We are extremely excited to have Kim conducting a seminar that gives a first-hand account of her vast municipal experience", stated Nicolaidis. "Kim single-handedly coordinated the Environmental Management System/ISO 14001 registration at the Region’s Waste Management Centre utilizing the Intelex EMS." Kim’s seminar will take place on Thursday, November 30, from 3:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. at a cost of $49. CWRE/CPWE will be focusing on the collection, hauling, processing and disposal of waste. In addition, the event will cover materials recycling, municipal recycling programs, including blue box programs, MRF’s, scrap metals, C&D, wood, plastic, paper, auto, tires, fiber and more.
